17:17. ଧର୍ମଯାଜକର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଯୋନାଥନ ଓ ଅହୀମାସ୍-ଐନ୍ ରୋଗଲେ ରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିଲେ, ଯେ ହତେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସମାନେେ ନଗର ଭିତରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚାହିଁଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଜଣେ ଦାସୀ ନଗରରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲା ଏବଂ ଖବର ଦେଉଥିଲା। ତା'ପରେ ସମାନେେ ଗଲେ ଓ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ।

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying in En Rogel. A female servant would go and inform them, and they would then go and inform King David. It was not advisable for them to be seen going into the city.

17:17. Jonathan and Ahimaaz had been staying at En-rogel so as not to be seen entering and leaving the city. Arrangements had been made for a servant girl to bring them the message they were to take to King David.

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying by En-rogel; and a maid-servant used to go and tell them; and they went and told king David: for they might not be seen to come into the city.

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were waiting at En-rogel. A female servant was to go and tell them, and they were to go and tell King David, for they were not to be seen entering the city.

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by En-rogel; for they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went and told them; and they went and told king David.

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were waiting at Enrogel; a maidservant used to go and tell them, and they would go and tell King David; for they must not be seen entering the city.

17:17. Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by En-rogel; and a maidservant used to go and tell them; and they went and told king David: for they might not be seen to come into the city.

17:17. And Jonathan and Ahimaaz are standing at En-Rogel, and the maid-servant hath gone and declared to them -- and they go and have declared [it] to king David -- for they are not able to be seen to go in to the city.

17:17. The priests' sons, Jonathan and Ahimaaz, did not want to be seen going into the town, so they waited at En Rogel. A servant girl went out to them and gave them the message. Then Jonathan and Ahimaaz carried the message to King David.
